4G-Coming Soon

It is safe to assume that most of the population has an internet connection in their home. However, not all internet is created the same. When choosing a type of connection, there are different options, such as dial up, DSL, and cable, but none are 100% reliable. The one you use depends on the options made available by your area or by the wires in your home.

Some people still use dial up, a slow and inconvenient connection, because they do not realize they have other options. If you do not have a separate phone number for your internet, you first have to make sure that no one is using the phone, or needs the phone soon. Then, you must enter your user name and password and wait for a minute while the internet literally dials up with an unpleasant noise, and finally connects. Once online, the connection is slow, unreliable, and you are not able to receive incoming calls to your house. Many older people still use dial up because they have not learned about the more convenient ways to connect.

Cable internet is only available through your cable company, and there are usually a limited amount of providers in specific areas. Especially in small towns, options are very limited, maybe even down to one provider. Even in a city, one or two cable companies may dominate a few neighborhoods, leaving you with limited options. Your building also needs to be properly wired in order to work with the requirements of each company. With new, quickly built apartment buildings, this is often an issue.

A DSL internet connection is faster than cable and therefore more popular. However, it is very limiting because you must have special copper wires in your phone to be able to use DSL. These copper wires are not automatically built in with every phone, so without even knowing it you may not have DSL internet as an option.

Thankfully, people are realizing the downsides of these types of connections and are beginning to use wireless internet at home. This means they do not have to be plugged into a cord, and are free to roam around their living room, bedroom, or kitchen with their laptop in tow. This way, you can check e-mail while watching TV, listen to an online radio station while cleaning, and make a Skype phone call while eating dinner. The benefits are endless, but sometimes the connection is slow and you cannot complete all that you want.

Finally, there is a solution: thanks to new technology, a fast, clear internet connection is the last thing you have to worry about with mobile WiMax. With this new product you can easily access the internet with a mobile air card, which simply plugs into your laptop. No relying on copper wires, phone lines, or plugs. Also, mobile broadband has expanded coverage, which means anywhere in your house you venture with your laptop you will be connected. Using 4G technology, your connection has never been faster. It is 4 times faster than 3G, allowing you to accomplish more than you ever thought possible.
